The Left Lower Rhine Drainage Cooperative (LINEG) has been using the argvis; Maintenance Portal since 2024 to modernize its maintenance processes. The solution harmonizes SAP PM processes, enables mobile use and simplifies processes through a modern design and reduced input masks.
The aim was to create transparent and efficient processes for areas such as mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and water maintenance. Marco Hünseler, Head of Maintenance Management, emphasizes that the intuitive operation and flexible adaptability were decisive in choosing argvis.
After intensive testing, the solution was gradually introduced. Since October 2024, around 80 employees have been using the portal, which enables mobile processing of reports, checklists and time bookings as well as direct integration with SAP systems such as MM and HR. In addition to reducing system interruptions and paper consumption (5,000-10,000 sheets per month), the platform increases efficiency through real-time information and time savings in time recording and order processing.
Functions such as the use of existing geodata for navigation and mobile fault reporting are particularly valued. The flexibility of the solution made it possible to implement special cases and specific requirements promptly. LINEG plans to expand the system to additional locations and employees in 2025.
With this innovation, LINEG, which has stood for sustainable water management on the Lower Rhine for over 100 years, is showing itself to be a pioneer in the field of digital maintenance. argvis has established itself as an indispensable tool that sustainably improves transparency and efficiency.
